RegistryInsights and the 2018 Price Increase
Published in November 2017
The AJRR's RegistryInsights™ platform launched on July 1, 2017. The method for data file submission remained the same, as did the URL to access the Registry platform. However, you may have noticed a few key changes including multi-factor authentication, consolidated “Tools” and “Resources” tabs, increased transparency into your submitted data through enhanced search functions, and the addition of detailed record attributes visible through the user interface. Quick guides are available now on the "Tools and Resources" tab and a more comprehensive User Guide will be forthcoming. Beginning in 2018, we are increasing our pricing structure to help continue our mission to improve orthopaedic care through the collection, analysis, and reporting of actionable data.
In the first week of October, we launched Phase I of the quality reports initiative for our subscribing users. These reports show the last file submitted from the soft launch date onward and include the name of the submitting institution, procedure date, and how many records were included in the file. Phase 2 of the quality reports will be released in Q4, 2017, and will display a detailed report for file record errors. This will support the Registry's ongoing commitment to continually improving data quality, while providing greater visibility into your records that were uploaded to the Registry versus those that require error correction. Over the next several months, every participating institution will receive a login to access the quality reports. We will verify who the data submitter is at each institution so that we can grant them access.
