Registry Platform Drives Quality with Patient Risk Factor Data

AJRR participants can now submit Level II data

Rosemont, Ill. - March 14, 2017 - The American Joint Replacement Registry (AJRR), the Registry for the collection of hip and knee replacement data, has released new data specifications that allow for health care institutions to collect and report on patient risk factors, comorbidities, and complications data. This data is known as Level II, and is either required or recommended by several federal and state quality initiatives. The addition of Level II completes our dataset, and gives Registry participants risk adjusted data that they can use to determine survivorship curves.

Rosemont, Ill. – November 11, 2016 – The American Joint Replacement Registry (AJRR) releases its 2016 Annual Report on hip and knee arthroplasty data today at the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) 2016 Annual Meeting. With the number of procedures more than doubling since the last report, the AJRR has published the most comprehensive representation of data from an American orthopaedic Registry to date. The AJRR, AOA, and AAHKS Announce Collaboration to Advance Quality Reporting Efforts through the AJRR Orthopaedic Quality Resource Center

Rosemont, Ill.  – April 21, 2016 – The American Joint Replacement Registry (AJRR), The American Orthopaedic Association (AOA), and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) announce the formation of a new collaboration to align their quality initiatives and reporting through the AJRR’s Orthopaedic Quality Resource Center.  The AJRR Orthopaedic Quality Resource Center was once again approved as a Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) for 2016.  Under this new collaboration, the three organizations will cooperate in offering the AJRR Orthopaedic Quality Resource Center, operated on the CECity Medconcert platform, for eligible professionals (EPs) and group practices interested in submitting Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) measures.

2016 AJRR Board of Directors Announced

Orthopaedic societies, industry, payers, and the public collaborate to lead Registry

Rosemont, Ill. – January 28, 2016 – The American Joint Replacement Registry (AJRR) announced the two newest members of its 2016 Board of Directors. With the addition of Douglas E. Padgett, MD as an American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Representative and Yvonne Bokelman as an AdvaMed Representative, the AJRR 2016 Board of Directors is complete. The Board is responsible for governing the AJRR by making policy decisions and overseeing operations pertaining to the U.S. based Registry for hip and knee arthroplasty. As a multi-stakeholder group, the AJRR Board is reflected in its structure and is comprised of members representing AJRR, AAOS, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), The Hip Society, The Knee Society, industry, payers, and the public.
