Annual Meetings

American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Annual Meeting

Each year, the Registry Program attends the AAOS Annual Meeting. At this meeting, we have a booth where staff provides demonstrations of the RegistryInsights® dashboards as well as meets with individuals who are interested in participation and would like to learn more about the Registry Program. We also hold a session and/or present scientific findings during the meeting. Our annual in-person User Group Network (Unet) meeting is held during this time too.

The 2019 AAOS Annual Meeting took place from March 12-16, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

American Surgery Center Association (ASCA) Annual Meeting

Attendees could stop by the AAOS Registry Program booth (#353) to see how Registry participation, and the data that will be compiled, will be used to validate current efforts to reduce health care costs by moving total joint replacements to Medicare’s ASC-payable list and expanding the number of private payers that will reimburse surgery centers for these procedures. Registry Program staff offered live demonstrations of the RegistryInsights® platform and hard copies of the American Joint Replacement Registry (AJRR) 2018 Annual Report
