Each year, we attend the AAOS Annual Meeting. At this meeting, we have a booth where staff provides demonstrations of the AJRR dashboards as well as meet with individuals who are interested in participation and would like to learn more about the Registry. We also hold a session and/or present scientific findings during the meeting. Our annual in-person User Group Network (Unet) meeting is held during this time too.
The 2017 AAOS Annual Meeting took place in San Diego, CA from March 14-18, 2017. AJRR had a booth at this meeting and hosted an in-person Unet meeting on March 15 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in the Catalina Room at the Marriott Marquis.

AJRR will have a booth at ASCA's 2017 Annual Meeting from May 3-6 at the Gayloard National Resort & Convention Center in Washington, D.C. Stop by booth 133 and see how Registry participation, and the data that will be complied, will be used to validate current efforts to reduce health care costs by moving total joint replacements to Medicare’s ASC-payable list and expanding the number of private payers that will reimburse surgery centers for these procedures.

The California Orthopaedic Association (COA)
will hold its 2017 Annual Meeting/QME Course from May 18-21, 2017 at the Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, CA. Hundreds of orthopaedic surgeons, residents, and practice managers are expected to attend. The California Bones Society (C-Bones) Annual Meeting will be taking place at the resort at the same time too.
Several organizations including the AJRR will be exhibiting with booths during the meeting. Be sure to stop by the symposium "Data Collection and Reporting: How to Earn 70 QPP Points or More and be Rewarded" on Friday, May 19. AJRR Executive Director Jeffrey P. Knezovich will be speaking at 11:20 a.m. about qualified clinical data registries (QCDRs) and the additional benefits of registry reporting. You'll also receive CME hours in the double digits by attending the meeting.

ISAR is a global consortium of joint replacement registries throughout the world. ISAR also provides support to registries like the AJRR. Their Annual Meeting serves as a venue in which surgeons and academics can present their research, ideas, and progress to each other.

The AAHKS Annual Meeting addresses a broad array of scientific topics such as implant design, outcomes, surgical techniques, and complications of primary and revision total joint arthroplasty (TJA). Their Annual Meeting also addresses the latest socioeconomic issues in health care. Courses are offered for residents, non-physician team members, and hospital administrators who plan on attending. We have an exhibit where you can stop by to learn more. We also conduct a session and release our findings from our Annual Report at this meeting.
