Dr. Craig J. Della Valle received his education at the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, he is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Della Valle is involved in many other orthopaedic associations. He is the Chairman of the Education Committee for the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, Secretary for The Hip Society, Member at Large for The Knee Society, and a member of the Board of Directors for the AJRR.
Dr. Della Valle believes the establishment of a successful joint replacement registry in the U.S. is very important. He feels it is critical in order to tract outcomes and develop a deeper understanding of orthopaedic best practices for all in the field. In his spare time, Dr. Della Valle enjoys spending time with his growing family, travelling, skiing in the winter, boating in the summer, and duck hunting in the fall.
