Michael R. Dayton, MD
Dr. Michael R. Dayton is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in Adult Reconstructive Orthopaedics. He attended medical school at the University of Utah School of Medicine then completed his residency at the University of Vermont. Dr. Dayton also completed a fellowship with the New England Baptist Hospital Program in adult reconstruction surgery.
Dr. Dayton has received many awards and accolades in the field of orthopaedics including The Hip Society of North America's Frank Stinchfield Award. He is also a member of various orthopaedic groups and societies including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), American Medical Association, Colorado Medical Society, Denver Medical Society, and many others. He is currently serving as a member of the AJRR Board of Directors and sits on the Finance and Data Committee.
Dr. Dayton is committed to the education of future medical professionals. He has served in many capacities for the orthopaedic residency and fellowship programs at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Currently, he is serving as the Director of the Orthopaedic Residency program.
